Ecotherapy & Nature-Based Therapy invites you into healing and reconnection through relationship with the land, the elements, and the more-than-human world. This work bridges emotional and psychological support with the wisdom of nature. Whether you're seeking mental health support, symbolic insight, or a deeper rhythm within yourself and the Earth.

What is Ecotherapy?

Ecotherapy, also known as nature-based therapy, is a therapeutic approach that integrates connection to the natural world into the healing process. It recognizes that we are not separate from nature and that our nervous systems, emotional experiences, and sense of belonging are deeply influenced by our environment and our relationship with it.

How it can Support You

Ecotherapy can be a powerful support if you are experiencing:

-Anxiety, depression, or emotional overwhelm

-Grief, loss, or transition

-Feeling disconnected from yourself, others, or life purpose

-Burnout, stress, or nervous system dysregulation

-A desire for deeper belonging, balance, or soul connection

My Approach

In this work, nature is not a backdrop it is an active presence. We may meet outdoors or explore nature-based reflection indoors or virtually. Through imagery, symbol, and the language of the elements, we invite the land, weather, plants, and animals into the healing process. This may include direct sensory experience, guided reflection, or intuitive attunement with nature’s cycles.

What Sessions May Include

- Walk or sit on the land/ in natural spaces during session

- Symbolic and intuitive reflection using nature imagery

-Eco-depth work inspired by archetype, dream, and myth

- Nature-based grief tending, threshold witnessing, or ritual

-Working with plant or elemental connection for emotional support

- Personal integration practices rooted in nature’s rhythms

Who This Work Is For

This work is for those who want to feel more grounded, connected, and in rhythm with life. It’s especially resonant for those who find healing in nature, who feel disconnected from modern systems, or who long for a more rooted way of navigating change and emotion.

The Nature of This Work

Ecotherapy & Nature-Based Therapy can be offered as a mental health therapy or as a symbolic, intuitive experience, depending on your needs and intentions. For those receiving mental health therapy, nature is woven in as a therapeutic modality. This work is rooted in relationship with your body, your emotions, the natural world, and the parts of you that may have been exiled, silenced, or stretched too thin. It is not a quick fix or a path of answers, but an invitation into deeper presence and curiosity. In this space, we walk alongside the more than human world, not to escape our struggles, but to be mirrored by something older, wiser, and deeply alive. Through breath, imagery, somatic awareness, and symbolic connection with nature and plant allies, we explore the stories your nervous system, your heart, and the Earth are holding. This is a space of reconnection, integration, and wholeness, where healing unfolds not in isolation, but in belonging.

Whether you come to the land for grounding, for grief, for insight, or for belonging, nature meets you there. This work is an invitation to remember your place in the web of life and to feel supported by the Earth as you walk through your healing, becoming, and return to Self.
